working

Richard and I are both submitting grant proposals to the Nova Scotia Department of Culture and Tourism. It’s the first time in months that I’ve made a serious effort at working on my book. And, to my utter shock, it’s coming pretty easily. Hooray!

I wish the house across the street would sell— it’s got two full wrap-around balconies (which function as a yard, since the house takes up its entire lot). It would be nice to see flowers [someone else bought] from my desk.
